With the establishing of Toc H Public School in Cochin the foundation was set to provide quality schooling right from primary to the senior secondary level.
After over 33 years of successful academic excellence, Toc H is today a name to reckon with and has become a synonym for excellence in education. Toc H Institute of Science and Technology is an inevitable extension of the Toc H ethos, created to keep abreast with emerging technologies and to impart technical education with a global perspective, inset in traditional values.
The Early History of Toc H Movement
Toc H was started in 1915 on the war front of Belgium during the First World War, set up primarily in a club building to serve the wounded and afflicted soldiers.
The signalmen’s abbreviation for this was “Toc H”. After the war these young men sought to keep alive the spirit of Toc H, a spirit which was characterised by fellowship and unselfish service. So the worldwide movement was born. The organization has since grown into an institution that stays committed to its motto of service towards the welfare of humanity.
TOC H is committed to building a fairer society by working with communities to promote friendship and service, confront prejudice and practise reconciliation.
